App-fatigue? There’s an app for that!

Feeling overwhelmed by the total onslaught of apps that sound a lot like … other apps?

Nielsen estimates that 24% of US Adults use apps on their phones. They see mobile apps as “an important new part of the technology world of many Americans”

But if you are one of the remaining 76%, and are starting to develop “App Fatigue”, never fear! Those fine fellows at Sesame Street have an app for that!

Wow Geoff, it's amazing to see what you're doing there! What chance of m-uBuntu expanding into raising awareness and teaching people about carbon and climate change issues as South Africa prepares to host the UNFCC COP17 this year? It's the World Cup of climate change, and too many people have never heard of it.
We (safcei.org.za) are working at grassroots level through faith communities (of all faiths) as well as with political and religious leaders in Southern Africa. For the former we want to set up a network of youth ambassadors to work with congregations - and m-learning looks like the way to go!
